Fraser Hunter

Fraser joined Chris Lee & Partners in 2022 after building his career within a national private wealth business.

He began working in financial markets during the Global Financial Crisis and progressed from an Investment Analyst role to managing an investment team. During that time he was responsible for managing investment funds and constructing portfolios for individuals, family trusts, estates, and charitable trusts.

Fraser has developed strong knowledge of New Zealand and Australian companies through years of analysis and industry relationships. His experience includes asset allocation, portfolio construction, and managing portfolios across cash, fixed interest, and shares in both local and international markets.

Fraser believes successful investing should be straightforward and focused on long-term goals. His approach emphasises sensible asset allocation, clear investment objectives, and avoiding unnecessary reactions to short-term market noise.

Clients can meet with Fraser in Paraparaumu, Wellington, Wairarapa, Christchurch, and Otago.

Fraser grew up in the Otago and Southland regions and attended the University of Otago. He regularly travels to the South Island to visit family, friends, and clients.
